Akiba Night GALLERY by TOYPLA × Melonbooks

Akiba Night GALLERY by TOYPLA x Melonbooks is a dedicated pop-up and event space in the Azuma Building basement at Sotokanda 3-chome, on Akihabara's Chuo Dori near the iosys building. Run jointly by figure and hobby retailer TOYPLA and doujin shop Melonbooks, the venue hosts limited-run pop-up shops, gallery exhibitions and bargain sales for anime, game and character goods. Regular hours run from 12:00 to 20:30, with weekend events often opening at 11:00. The gallery's central location makes it easy to pair with Melonbooks' nearby main store and the surrounding figure shops, and its rotating schedule means there is usually a new collaboration to discover. Events have included the Uribou bargain sale series, 696Garage custom-figure shows and franchise-specific pop-up shops.
