神田明神 例大祭
Kanda Myojin's Reitaisai — a short walk from Akihabara — features tea ceremony, Noh theater, and the elegant Kochō-no-Mai dance. 2026 is a kagematsuri (off-year) with no mikoshi procession; the full Kanda Matsuri returns in 2027.

The 700m Chidorigafuchi promenade is illuminated with LED cherry blossom lights, featuring extended-hours boat rentals, an anime collaboration stamp rally, and ~100 participating shops. Over 1 million visitors annually.

Kanda Myojin Noryo Matsuri is Akihabara's signature summer festival, returning August 6–9, 2026. The four-day event blends traditional Bon Odori with Akihabara otaku culture through its headline Anison Bon Odori night, food stalls, and a gourmet beer and sake eve-festival. A neighborhood fixture since 2016.

神田明神 節分祭
Kanda Myojin's Setsubun Festival. Features the Meigen-no-gi (ancient archery ritual by priests in Heian warrior attire) followed by mamemaki bean-throwing. Kanda Myojin is the guardian shrine of Edo Castle's demon gate.

秋葉原ラジオ会館 × シュタインズ・ゲート RE:BOOT.
Akihabara Radio Kaikan is taken over by Steins;Gate RE:BOOT. from July 20 to August 31, 2026. The iconic 10-floor otaku building is wrapped in Steins;Gate characters and illustration throughout summer. Includes a 12th-anniversary rooftop ceremony (Jul 20, guest Momoi Haruko), a special entrance event (Aug 29–30), and a kuji lottery (Aug 21–30, 3,000 yen receipt per draw). Free to visit.
