About This Event / イベントについて
Every Sunday, Chuo-dori — the main avenue running through Akihabara Electric Town — is closed to vehicles, transforming ~570m of the street into a pedestrian-only paradise. It's the signature Akihabara experience: stroll past electronics shops, anime-goods stores, and maid cafes without dodging traffic.
The pedestrian zone runs from Sotokanda 5-chome intersection to Manseibashi intersection, 13:00–18:00 from April to September (until 17:00 from October to March). Rules are strictly enforced: no smoking, no street performances, no cycling. It's the best time to explore Electric Town at a relaxed pace.
毎週日曜日、中央通り — 秋葉原電気街を貫く大通り — は車両通行止めとなり、約570mが歩行者専用の天国に変わります。電気街のショップ、アニメグッズ店、メイドカフェを通行量を気にせず歩ける、秋葉原ならではの体験です。
歩行者天国は外神田5丁目交差点から万世橋交差点まで、4～9月は13:00～18:00（10～3月は17:00まで）。ルールは厳格：路上喫煙・パフォーマンス・自転車走行は禁止。電気街をゆっくり探索するのに最適な時間です。
