About This Event / イベントについて
Throughout summer, Kanda Myojin holds subsidiary shrine festivals across its grounds. June brings the Fuji Shrine and Edo Shrine festivals. July features the Suwa Shrine festival. August is the busiest month, with the Hachiman Shrine festival, Ebisu Festival (praying for business prosperity), Tenjin Shrine festival, and the rice-harvest ceremony (nuhihosai).
The August Ebisu Festival is particularly popular with Akihabara merchants — reflecting the shrine's role as the guardian of local businesses and electronics dealers. These smaller, local festivals offer a quieter alternative to the grand spring Reitaisai.
神田明神では夏を通じて末社例祭が行われます。6月は富士神社・江戸神社、7月は諏訪神社、8月は八幡神社、えびす祭（商売繁盛祈願）、天神社、抜穂祭と続きます。
8月のえびす祭は秋葉原の商家に特に人気です — 神社が地元の商売や電気街の商家の守り神としての役割を反映しています。春季例大祭とは異なる、静かで地元密着型の祭事です。
