Edo Shrine, more precisely the Hanabusa Inari Shrine approach, is a small Edo-period shrine hidden down a narrow alley in Sotokanda 2-chome, metres from Akihabara's busiest streets. Dating back to the Edo period, the fox-guarded shrine has survived the district's redevelopment and remains one of Akihabara's best-kept secrets, with visitors threading between tall buildings to reach its quiet torii gates. It sits close to Kanda Myojin and offers a serene contrast to the surrounding electronics shops.
