We visited after GiGo shut down, since this location stayed open later. It''s one of the more affordable arcades for crane games, with several floors of prizes. I managed to snag a huge Kirby plush in just three attempts!

GamePanic Akihabara is an amusement arcade in Sotokanda, set inside the Akihabara ex building near the electric-town district. The venue is filled with medal games, coin pusher cabinets, prize cranes, and other quick-play attractions that suit a wide range of visitors. The bright, noisy floor is busiest in the late afternoon and evening, when groups of friends and solo players alike try their luck at winning character prizes and tokens. Staff regularly restock the prize machines and are happy to reset games if an item topples awkwardly. It is an easy entry point into Japanese arcade culture if you find the larger game centres intimidating; a handful of coins here can easily turn into an entertaining half-hour break from shopping.
