くりこ庵
ポケモンのコイキング型たい焼きで有名なたい焼きスタンド。
Kurikoan is a taiyaki stand on the first floor at 1-15-1 Sotokanda, run by the Yokohama Kurikoan chain, and famous for shaping its fish cakes into a Pokemon Magikarp at the Akihabara branch. The waffle-like, fish-shaped cakes are filled with sweet red-bean paste, custard, and seasonal fillings. It sits next to the Gigo arcade, a short walk from Akihabara Station. The stand sells individual taiyaki for around 200 to 400 yen, with the Magikarp version a popular photo-worthy treat for Pokemon fans, and other shapes available across the chain. Hours run 10am to 9pm daily. It suits sweet-toothed visitors, families, and anyone wanting a kawaii snack. Queue for a freshly grilled Magikarp taiyaki and snap a photo before you bite in. For a fun, cheap Akihabara snack, it is a must-try. Official: https://www.kurikoan.co.jp
