Outdated Amulet Return is the omamori return service associated with Kanda Shrine (Kanda Myojin), whose grounds lie at Sotokanda 2-chome near the Chiyoda Central Building. In Shinto tradition, lucky amulets known as omamori are returned to the shrine where they were purchased after about a year so they can be ritually purified and burned, rather than thrown away. Kanda Myojin, one of Tokyo's oldest shrines, accepts old charms alongside the new amulets it sells for fortune, IT protection and study success. The shrine is famously tied to Akihabara's geek culture, selling anime-themed ema and IT-blessing charms that draw tech workers and fans, and it sits a short walk from the Electric Town exits. The amulet return box is available during regular shrine opening hours at no charge. Bring last year's charms to Kanda Myojin and close the loop on your blessings.
