秋葉原ダイビル内にある、化学品・肥料を取り扱う商社。
Shoko Co. (Shoko Agri) is a chemical and nitrogenous-fertiliser trading company with a Tokyo office in the Akihabara Dai Building at Sotokanda 1-chome. Originally established as Hikari Kogyo with the support of Showa Denko (now Resonac) and Ajinomoto to market and import-export chemicals and fertilisers, the company later merged with Showa Denko's wholly owned Shoei Corporation and changed its name to Shoko Co. Its diversified operations span plastics, chemicals, light metals and agricultural fertilisers. The company has also expanded into renewable energy, with a solar farm in Chiba generating up to 3,500 megawatt-hours, acquired by Cabot Corporation in 2023. The Akihabara office places it among the cluster of chemical and trading firms in the Dai Building complex. Contact Shoko's Akihabara office to source fertilisers, plastics and chemical products.
