The third Lashinbang in Akihabara, focused on doujinshi and male-audience goods
Lashinbang opened its third Akihabara-area store on June 26, 2026, on the 3rd floor of the Akihabara SIL Building at 4-4-3 Soto-Kanda. Called AKIBA DEEP BASE, the new shop is positioned along Chuo-dori, across the street from Don Quijote Akihabara, and the brand is explicitly billing it as a deeper-cut complement to its existing stores rather than a duplicate.
The other two Lashinbang stores in the area cover different ground. The Akihabara Shinkan store sits on floors 1 and 2 of AKIBA Culture Zone and stocks mainstream anime figures and character goods. The Akihabara Radio Kaikan store, on the 5th floor of Radio Kaikan, focuses on smaller character merchandise and prize figures. AKIBA DEEP BASE takes the slot neither of those fills: doujinshi, doujin ROMs, doujin goods, and bishoujo game software, plus figures and tapestries aimed at a male customer base.
What the stock looks like
The shop is being marketed as Akihabara's largest used doujinshi stock by volume, which is a meaningful claim in a district that still has several specialist doujinshi retailers. The shelves on the 3rd floor of the SIL Building cover同人 ROMs and同人 goods alongside the doujinshi itself, and the bishoujo game section includes both software and tie-in merchandise. The figure and tapestry selection skews toward the male-audience licenses that the other two Lashinbang stores do not prioritise.
Opening campaign and access
To mark the opening, Lashinbang is running a cross-promotion with Melonbooks Akihabara Store 1, located nearby. Pick up the AKIBA DEEP BASE leaflet at Melonbooks, present it with a Melonbooks receipt at AKIBA DEEP BASE, and you get either 200 yen off any purchase of 1,000 yen or more, or a 200-yen-or-less outlet item in exchange. The campaign runs while supplies last. There is also a lucky speed-kuji lottery running through July 20 that offers a chance at a coupon for any single item priced 5,000 yen or below.
