Gigo's Taiyaki Akihabara at Akihabara, Tokyo

Taiyaki stand famous for anime-collab and Magikarp-shaped fish cakes near Akihabara Station.

GiGO's Taiyaki Akihabara is a fish-shaped cake snack counter on the first floor of the GiGO 5 building in Sotokanda, about three minutes' walk from Akihabara Station's Electric Town exit.

Known for its anime-collaboration taiyaki, the stand has produced character cakes themed around Hatsune Miku, Yu-Gi-Oh, Blue Lock and Pop Team Epic, with the ever-popular Magikarp-shaped taiyaki a perennial favourite at around 200 to 400 yen. Standard red bean and custard fillings are always available, opening daily from 11:00 to 20:00.
