Branch of the national yakiniku chain on Akihabara Electric Town Exit, with all-you-can-eat wagyu courses and tablet ordering.
Gyu-Kaku is one of Japan largest yakiniku chains, and this Akihabara branch sits on the seventh floor of the Okuyama Building, roughly a one-minute walk from the Electric Town Exit of JR Akihabara Station. The brand is built on charcoal-grilled meat cut by hand in each shop, with cut styles adjusted to the millimetre to bring out the best flavour of each piece. The menu covers a la carte orders, course meals and all-you-can-eat options, with a tablet ordering system that keeps the table stocked. The all-you-can-eat lineup runs in tiers: a 70-item course at 3,718 yen, a 90-plus-item Gyu-Kaku course at 4,158 yen, a beef tongue and premium grilled meat course at 5,478 yen, and a Black Wagyu course at 6,578 yen that includes wagyu short ribs. Signature plates include Gyu-Kaku Premium Kalbi, Aged Thick-Cut Kalbi, Premium Harami and Top Sirloin, available in regular and large platters. Hours run 16:00 to 23:00 on weekdays and 11:30 to 23:00 on weekends and holidays, with the shop closed only irregularly. For a reliable, no-surprises yakiniku dinner right outside Akihabara Station, this Gyu-Kaku does exactly what the brand promises. Pick a course, fire up the grill, and let the tablet do the running.Based on 244 Google reviews
