Milk Shop Luck is a tiny kiosk on platform six of Akihabara Station, serving travellers on the Chuo-Sobu Line heading towards Chiba. As its name suggests, the stall specialises in milk drinks, from chilled cartons and flavoured milk to warming options on colder days.Because it is located beyond the ticket gates, the shop is perfect for commuters and day-trippers waiting for a train. The compact counter keeps things simple, offering a quick refreshment rather than a sit-down break, and the prices are refreshingly modest by central Tokyo standards.
Grab a bottle of fresh milk or a flavoured variety to sip while you wait; it is a small, authentic Tokyo station experience hidden among the crowds of Akihabara.

The milk shop is on Platform 6 of the JR Sōbu line inside Akihabara Station—look for the yellow signs marking the JB line. Be sure to have coins or an IC card ready for payment, as the staff can be particular about it.

We accidentally discovered this gem while at Akihabara Station, hopping off at Platform 6 where the milk shop is hidden away. Although Google indicated it might be closed on Saturdays, we found it open and were delighted.

The milk was delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced, with most varieties served chilled. It''s best enjoyed right there, though there are a few limited‑edition options in plastic bottles you can take home.

They offer a wide selection of milks, located near the L5 gate of the station. It''s cash‑only, and locals suggest trying the low‑fat varieties as well as the top‑ranked first, second, and third choices. The milk can be served hot or cold in glass bottles, which you return after drinking.
