Nijigen Kanojo - literally 2D Girlfriend - is a romance-themed concept lounge bar on the fourth floor of the MT Building at Sotokanda 4-4-7, a two-minute walk from Akihabara Station Electric Town Exit. The concept is built around the sweet-and-sour memories of that time, with cast in sailor-maid uniforms playing the role of fleeting, inexperienced girlfriends who serve drinks, food and conversation to darlings across an 18-seat counter. The shop has grown into one of the representative con-cafes of the Electric Town Exit area. The pricing is a 50-minute all-you-can-drink system starting at 3,000 yen, with food, original menu items and a rotating calendar of seasonal events where the entire cast changes costume. Every 29th of the month is Niku-no-Hi - meat day - when fried chicken and chicken nuggets ordered at the counter become all-you-can-eat. Hours run 18:00 to 25:00 on weekdays and 15:00 to 25:00 on weekends and holidays, with the shop open most days of the year.
