沖縄剛柔流・泊手空手道協会（剛泊会） 秋葉原道場 at Akihabara, Tokyo

A traditional Okinawan karate dojo training weekly in Akihabara.

Gohakukai, the Okinawa Goju Ryu Tomari-te Karate-do Association's Tokyo branch, holds weekly Akihabara dojo sessions at the Chiyoda Manseibashi branch office in Sotokanda 1-chome, five minutes from Akihabara Station. The association preserves the rare Tomari-te style of Okinawan karate, distinct from the better-known Shuri-te and Naha-te traditions, and trains in traditional kata under the head of the Okinawa-based Gohakukai. Classes run every Wednesday from 18:00 to 20:30, with children and women welcome.

The dojo is one of the association's Kanto-region branches, which also operate in Chiba and Saitama, with additional branches in Tokai, Kyushu and Canada. The Akihabara class can be reached on 070-5560-8634 for enquiries about joining.
