fileja（フレア）

fileja is a reservation-only Italian restaurant tucked into a side street between Akihabara and Iwamotocho stations, limited to three groups and eight guests per service. The owner-chef, who trained in Italy and at Tokyo trattorias including Trucco, fell in love with the world of Italian pasta and built his menu around its staggering variety, said to number more than 650 distinct types. Each visit unfolds as a pasta omakase course, with around 15 separate dishes presented in a calm, stylish room.\n\nThe courses change with the season and showcase fresh handmade pasta such as raviolone with conger eel, potato tortelli, bigoli, cicatelli and lasagna, alongside carefully chosen proteins and vegetables. Prosecco and Italian reds are available to accompany the meal, and the chef sometimes cooks to request on repeat visits.
