A lively amusement arcade packed with games and prize machines in central Akihabara.
TAITO Station Akihabara occupies the Kizō Building in Sotokanda and offers a classic Japanese game-centre experience spread across several floors. Visitors will find UFO catchers, rhythm games, fighting cabinets, photo booths, and the latest arcade titles under one roof.
Prize-winning cranes dominate the lower floors, while dedicated areas upstairs cater to rhythm-game players, competitive fighting-game fans, and those looking for collectible figurines. The arcade stays open late, so it works well as an evening activity after the anime shops begin to close.
Carry plenty of 100-yen coins or load a rechargeable IC card at the change machines; even if you do not play, watching skilled local gamers is a quintessential slice of Akihabara nightlife.

Three different machines malfunctioned, swallowing coins that were inserted by mistake and refusing to return them. While I could have asked staff, each incident cost 100 yen and staff were hard to locate. An unpleasant experience overall.
Positive Reviews
Rain Galon
A fun and cool spot in Akihabara, featuring multiple levels of crane games with prices starting at 100 yen. Prizes range from small keychains to large plush toys. Unfortunately, I didn''''t win anything.

We visited this arcade in Akihabara and found it clean and well‑organized. We tried a two‑player game but died quickly, which discouraged us from continuing. The venue has retro titles like Super Mario, and the first floor is aimed at a female audience, which was interesting.

Even though claw machines inevitably lose their grip as they lift, this spot is unbelievably great compared to most other arcades. I spent about 1500 yen (about 15 tries) on a mini claw machine for a small prize, and it kept going...

This station offers a huge variety of games—everything from lucky grab to classic sea battle, racing, and drum games (my favorite is on B1).
