About This Event / イベントについて
Chidorigafuchi, the cherry-tree-lined moat alongside the Imperial Palace, is one of Tokyo's most spectacular hanami spots — and it's just a short walk from Akihabara. The Chiyoda Cherry Blossom Festival illuminates the 700m promenade with LED lights each evening, creating a tunnel of pink against the water.
Rowboat rentals operate extended hours during the festival, letting you drift beneath the blossoms at night. The festival also includes an anime collaboration stamp rally with shops across Chiyoda ward, making it an easy pairing with a day in Akihabara — about a 15-minute walk or one station away.
