About This Event / イベントについて
Yasukuni Shrine holds its Spring Grand Festival over three days in late April. The ceremony begins with purification on April 21, followed by the main festival on April 22 — attended by an imperial envoy — and the second day ceremony on April 23.
The festival period features dedicated performing arts (hono geino), special flower arrangement exhibitions, and a limited-edition embroidery goshuin (shrine stamp) with a Hinoe-Uma (Fire Horse) zodiac theme. A 15-minute walk from Akihabara, it's one of the shrine's two grand festivals each year.
