About This Event / イベントについて
Each spring, Yasukuni Shrine hosts a dedicated Noh performance beneath its illuminated cherry trees, in what is said to be Tokyo's oldest Noh theater. The two-night program features top Noh and Kyōgen performers, creating a rare conjunction of classical drama and blossoming cherry branches.
Doors open at 18:10 with the performance starting at 18:45. Tickets are required — contact the shrine for availability and pricing. The event runs during peak cherry blossom season, making it one of the most atmospheric cultural experiences within walking distance of Akihabara.
